The unplug test
Nothing changes, because nothing was ever connected. The operator is a sealed capsule of gas-charged bellows: as room air warms, the gas expands, the bellows pushes a pin into the valve, and flow through the radiator throttles down. As the room cools, the reverse happens. There is no router to unplug, no app, no firmware, and no account — this is the same mechanism hydronic heating systems have used for decades, sold today through HVAC supply houses rather than big-box retail.
Why this tier: Manufacturer datasheet describes the RA2000 operator as a sealed, gas-charged bellows that mechanically drives a valve pin against an adjustment spring — no battery, no electronics, no radio of any kind — and Danfoss A/S (FCC grantee code PGB) holds only two FCC equipment grants, both explicitly for a separate 'Wireless Floor Heating Control System' product, with nothing filed for the RA2000 line. The vendor demonstrably files when it has radios; the absence for this product is therefore meaningful, not an unfiled gap.

- 013G8562 is listed as discontinued by Danfoss's own product store but remains stocked in quantity at multiple current HVAC distributors (SupplyHouse, State Supply, Kele, NYRP) — worth re-checking distributor stock periodically since Danfoss could stop restocking at any time.
- This operator requires a separately-purchased Danfoss RA/RAV/RAVL valve body (e.g. 013G8032) to form a complete working thermostatic radiator valve; a buyer replacing an existing Danfoss valve only needs the operator, but a new installation needs both.
