The unplug test
There is no router for this device to notice. It is a 9V-battery multimeter: probes, a rotary dial, and a digital display with an analog bar graph. Nothing about it depends on Wi-Fi, an app, or a Fluke account, at any point from unboxing to the end of its lifetime warranty.
