Audio & Video / bookshelf speaker

Klipsch R-50M

D0 No Radio — No radio at all. It cannot phone home.

The unplug test

There is nothing to unplug. This speaker has no power cord, no battery, and no electronics — it is a woofer, a tweeter, a crossover network, and a wooden box. Speaker wire from an amplifier or AV receiver is the only connection it has ever had, and that is also the only thing that can make it stop working.

Why this tier: The manufacturer's own spec sheet lists a single input: a pair of gold-plated binding posts. This is a fully passive loudspeaker with no internal power supply, no amplifier, and no electronics of any kind — it cannot contain a radio because it contains no active circuitry at all.
