Logitech C270

D0 No Radio — No radio at all. It cannot phone home.

The unplug test

Nothing changes; the C270 only ever spoke to the computer it's plugged into over a USB cable, and it has no radio to phone home with even if it wanted to. Any application that can open a webcam can use it immediately — no Logitech account, no app, and no cloud service sits between the camera and the video call.

Why this tier: Logitech's own technical-specifications page lists 'Corded USB, High Speed USB 2.0' as the sole connection with no wireless or Bluetooth capability, and the optional Logitech Webcam Software is listed as supported, not required. The camera enumerates as a standard UVC device, so it works with any application (Zoom, Teams, OBS, a browser) without installing anything.
