This is a thermostat first. Pull the router and the touchscreen keeps doing its actual job: Manual mode still lets you press the arrows to set a target temperature that the NTC floor sensor and relay hold to within 0.5°C, and Programmable mode still lets you set all six daily periods and a separate weekday/weekend schedule directly at the unit — the manual documents this as ordinary operation, not a fallback. What disappears without Wi-Fi is anything that needs a phone: remote adjustment, Alexa/Google Home voice control, and the app pushing a schedule to the unit (the unit only accepts app-pushed schedules once it is actually connected). Nothing about basic heating control is gated behind a BecaSmart or Tuya account.
Why this tier: A Tuya-ecosystem cloud (BecaSmart/Smart Life) exists for this thermostat, but the manufacturer's own user manual documents that Manual mode and full six-period Programmable-schedule mode are both set directly at the unit's touchscreen with no Wi-Fi, app, or account involved at all — the Wi-Fi/app chapter is a separate, clearly optional section of the manual. Setup can be completed and the thermostat used indefinitely without ever creating a BecaSmart/Tuya account, so this is D2, not D3, despite an active Home Assistant/LocalTuya community around this exact model.

The Wi-Fi module is most likely a separately pre-certified radio module rather than a full-unit grant, which is common for this class of device, but this was not confirmed and fcc_id is left null.
- Whether the exact ODM hardware sold as 'MOES BHT-002-GBLW' is identical to the hardware sold under the 'Beca'/BecaSmart branding in the manual, or a relabeled variant — both point at the same Tuya-ecosystem app and manual, and this project treats them as the same device, but a reader who owns one branded differently should confirm the DP mapping still matches before relying on LocalTuya.
