Laundry & Cleaning / washing machine

Speed Queen TC5003WN (TC5 Classic)

D0 No Radio — No radio at all. It cannot phone home.

The unplug test

Nothing changes. You turn a dial to a cycle and pull the knob. There is no Wi-Fi, no app, no account, and no cycle that needs to check in with anyone. There is also no lid lock, so you can open it mid-cycle to add the sock you missed — a small thing that tells you most of what you need to know about the design philosophy.

Why this tier: Manufacturer product page lists no connectivity, app or smart feature of any kind, and the machine is sold specifically on its mechanical dial controls and absence of an electronic control panel.
