The unplug test
Nothing changes; the VH200 was never on your network. You plug it into a wall outlet, flip the power switch, pick a wattage (750/1125/1500W), and turn the mechanical thermostat dial until the room feels right — the dial's internal bimetal contact cycles the heating element on and off to hold that temperature. There is no app, no account, and no firmware, so there is nothing for a router being off to affect.
Why this tier: The manufacturer's own owner's guide lists exactly three controls — a power switch, a 3-position heat selector, and a mechanical thermostat dial — with no mention anywhere in the 13-page manual of wifi, an app, Bluetooth, or a remote.
